Cathy Vierthaler, Owner
Cathy Vierthaler is the founder and sole owner of Island Business Services. She has over 25-years experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and office management. Cathy started her career doing bookkeeping and payroll for Russell’s at Orcas Landing in the late 1970’s.
Her talents as a fiber artist and weaver prompted her to open Fabrications, a fabric, yarn, and notions store in Eastsound, which she sold in 1996. She went on to manage the office of an international consulting firm for five years, until deciding to launch her own full-time bookkeeping and administrative services agency in 2001.
